The Michigan Employee Services and Recreation Association (MESRA) was founded in 1982. It is a non-profit organization dedicated exclusively to expanding employee services in Michigan. The premise behind its foundation is that by promoting employee programs, work productivity will be increased and good relations will be developed among employees and between employees and management. Also, MESRA seeks to facilitate professional growth through access to educational opportunities, information, and contact with other employee service providers. Our members are the managers and suppliers of programs in the human resources management, recreation, and health promotion fields. They represent business, industry and government organizations engaged in the field of employee services and recreation. There are three different membership categories: Organizational, Associate, and Student. In the Metro Detroit area alone, MESRA represents well over 500,000 employees spread out over 200 companies. Membership dues are very reasonable and depend on the type of membership one requires. Please see the membership page for specific information. |
